We have started Saga with the intention to empower you be confident and bold, and not compromise on quality. Our designs are made to last a long time in your closet, so you can be stylish year after year. Beyond that we want to connect with people, who cares about the materials and production of their swimwear.
We hope one day soon to keep our products and materials circulating because the materials have the strength to be reused again and again. Then your Saga swimwear, made from recycled materials, be made into new swimwear, which can be recycled into new swimwear, and so on.
We want to avoid our products ending up in landfills and never fulfill their full potential.
By recycling the material, we don’t need to produce new raw materials, which have a significant impact on the environment.

Our fabrics are made from ECONYL® yarn and elastane.
The oceans are overflowing with fishnets and trash, which interrupt the wildlife and kills many turtles and fish every year.
Nylon waste that would otherwise pollute our Earth are collected and regenerated into ECONYL® yarn.
The ECONYL® yarn gets mixed with elastane to make the fabrics able to stretch and wear as swimwear.
Elastane is made from entirely synthetic components and is not biodegradable.
All our fabrics have the OEKO-TEX 100 standard certificates, which indicates that no harmful substances were used under production.
All our hardware are made in France and have the OEKO-TEX 100 standard.
The coloring process of the fabric is certified with OEKO-TEX 100 Standard.
Net bags: 100% GOTS certified cotton from a SA8000 certified Indian factory.
Postbags: 100% recycled and recyclable FSC paper, made in a danish fabric, and has a Standard 100 OEKO-TEX certificate.
All our printed matters are made on FSC-paper in Denmark.
We aim to keep our products and suppliers in Europe and as near to Denmark as possible.
The process for producing ECONYL® regenerated nylon takes place in Slovenia and it is done by Auqafil, and the making of the final fabrics are in Italy. Our printed materials are made, with the fabric from Italy, in a Danish business. The production of the final product is placed in Italy. The factory focuses on keeping a healthy work environment and has a solid CSR policy that has been audited by SGS and Intertek.
All our fabrics are made from ECONYL® yarn, which is made from nylon waste. It reduces global warming up to 90% compared with the material from oil. From here, we hope to convert much more waste into swimwear and then keep reusing it.

Our solid colored fabrics are made of regenerated polyamide/nylon waste. The nylon are regenerated into ECONYL® yarn. The ECONYL® yarn gets mixed with elastane to make the fabrics able to stretch and wear as swimwear. It have high coverage & UV protection. The fabric is resistant for ultrachlorine, sun cream and oil, have UV protection & shape retention. All round a very strong fabric that are made to be used.
Are made of recycled polyester from pre and post consumer materials such as plastic bottles. The recycling process is GRS certified and it creates a highly resistant fabric.
